Some of the best diving in the world happens in current — and fighting it is the fastest way to burn through your air and miss the good stuff. The Drift Diver specialty teaches you to read the current, plan a drift dive properly, and actually enjoy the ride instead of fighting it.
You'll practice entry and exit techniques for moving water, staying with your group in current, using a surface marker buoy, and basic navigation adjustments so you end up where the boat is waiting. It's a genuinely fun specialty — once it clicks, drift diving becomes one of the more relaxing ways to dive.
